General The Ontario Pharmaceutical Marketing Association ("OPMA") respects the privacy of every individual who registers for membership or requests to be added to our mailing lists. This Privacy Statement outlines the information the OPMA will collect (whether online or offline) and how we will use that information. This Statement will also instruct you on what to do if you do not want your personal information collected or used by the OPMA. The OPMA may modify this Privacy Statement without prior notification and you should therefore periodically visit this web page or ask for a current copy of our Privacy Statement, to be sure that you have read and agreed to our most current Privacy Statement. Our Collection and Use of Personally Identifiable Information The OPMA will not collect any personally identifiable information about you (including your name, address, telephone number, or email address) unless you provide it to us voluntarily. By registering for membership, you consent to receiving future communications from us about the OPMA, such as newsletters, emails, direct mails or other information that maybe provided by the organization. You can choose to not receive these communications by informing the OPMA in writing or through the email address or phone number listed at the bottom of this Privacy Statement. When you register in the OPMA, your name, contact information, and company name will be included in our printed directory that is provided to all OPMA members to allow them to contact each other. If you register for an OPMA event, we will ask for your name, contact information, company name, and payment information, in order to complete your registration and process your payment. If you do not want your personally identifiable information collected, please do not submit this information to the OPMA. If you have already submitted this information and would like for it to be removed from our records, please contact the OPMA at the mailing address, email address or phone number listed at the bottom of this Privacy Statement. If we intend to disclose your personal information to a third party (other than our service providers who are hired to perform services, such as printing the member directory, on our behalf), we will seek your consent prior to doing so. The OPMA may also collect, use or disclose your personal information where required or permitted by law. The Internet The OPMA website may contain links to other Internet sites owned and operated by third parties. We are not responsible for the content or the privacy practices employed by other sites. You should review the privacy policies applicable to the other sites before you provide any personal information on those sites. The OPMA website logs IP addresses (or domain names), but not the e-mail addresses, of visitors. This information is aggregated and logged, and used to measure statistical information about usage of the website.
