Sandy Fallon,
Vice-President, Human Resources
GlaxoSmithKline Canada

Sandy Fallon was appointed Vice President, Human Resources in November 2008 and is currently responsible for the effective implementation of Company-wide HR programs for GSK Pharma as well as providing HR solutions to the Consumer and Bios divisions. Sandy has a passion for Employee Development and is instrumental in initiating a leaders as teachers concept and supporting Employee Empowerment and enrichment programs.

Catriona McMahon,
Vice President - Medical Affairs
AstraZeneca Canada

Since joining AstraZeneca Canada in March 2008, Catriona has worked closely with her executive colleagues in addressing the growing challenges of maintaining clinical trial investment in Canada, Access to Medicines and changing regulations. Catriona sits on the Advisory Board to the President of CIHR, and has been closely involved in the development of SUPPORT (Support for People and Patient Orientated Research and Trials). In addition, Catriona sat on the Scientific Committee of CCRDM, currently sits on the Scientific Committee of HRF, and sits on the Board of Directors of CQDM and CePMed. She is Chairperson for the Rx&D Medical/Clinical Subcommittee.

Karen Feltmate,
Vice President - Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance and Business Services
AstraZeneca Canada

Karen has been a member of the senior management team for 19 years, having worked with both the former Astra and Zeneca organizations, Karen brings to her role extensive pharmaceutical experience in regulatory affairs, quality compliance, product manufacturing, packaging production and supply chain distribution, procurement, and linguistics as well as heading up corporate facilities, security and safety, health and the environment (SHE). Karen is also a member of Rx&D, Canada’s Research Based Pharmaceutical Industry, the Drug Information Association (DIA), and the Canadian Association of Pharmaceutical Regulatory Affairs Professionals (CAPRA).
